Safe Harbour doesn’t boast about offering the best homecare in Hampshire; but we do claim to be different.
Managing Director Valerie Hale has 15 years’ experience working in homecare for companies including Saga, but she always had her own vision about what homecare should be.
More than a homecare service
Valerie wanted to offer clients something more than a basic service – respect, dignity and friendship – but the only way to do that was to set up her own company. So in 2013 she founded Safe Harbour Homecare in Liphook, Hampshire.
Safe Harbour recently opened another office in Petersfield and now offers bespoke homecare services across East Hampshire, but Valerie still makes time to visit every client herself. She feels strongly about knowing every member of the Safe Harbour community, client and carer.
The Safe Harbour community
Valerie recruits her award-winning staff personally because they go the extra mile for a client, not just looking after their physical needs but emotional needs too, whether that means providing company, independence or reassurance.
- Carers don’t make 15-minute calls. We take the time to get to know clients and build a real relationship.
- Clients are made to feel like individuals again. We listened to them.
- All staff are local to the area and are part of the same community as our clients.
- Clients and families can contact our senior care supervisor on a dedicated telephone number at any time of the day or night.
